I am Junyi Zhao, a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University. I received my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis (WashU) and previously worked as a Research Scientist Intern at Meta Reality Labs.

My research focuses on human-centered soft electronics and spans soft, flexible, stretchable, and wearable systems for sensing, interaction, and health applications.

Research interests

Flexible and stretchable optoelectronic devices

Perovskite-based light-emitting diodes, photodetectors, solar cells, lasers, and related systems

Soft sensors and wearable electronic systems for healthcare

Real-time physiological monitoring in both everyday and clinical settings

Human–computer interaction

Input devices, tactile interfaces, haptic systems, and human–machine interaction

Neurological micro- and nano-electronics

Bioinspired and interactive electronic systems at the micro- and nanoscale
